Khemah-li (Arab mare)
Khemah-li is a 18yr old Arab mare. I started trimming her in Jan. 2003. When I initially started trimming Khemah-li she had some contraction in her heels and one foot had a tendency to be a club, not an extreme club foot though. Since starting trimming her Khemah-li went thru some health issues. She was borderline hypothyroidism and had I not started trimming her this mare may have foundered. Since last year the owner along with my help has changed her diet completely and this mare has come along way in a year. The owner does trim herself and I come in every other month to keep the trim up.
Casablanca (Thorobred gelding)
Casa is a 19yr old Thorobred gelding. I started trimming him in April 2004. His main issue is, is he has the typical thorougbred flat feet. Plus his heels are very contracted and underslung in his front feet due to years of shoeing.
Nanen (Belgian mare)
Nanen is a 10yr old Belgian draft horse. I started trimming Nanen in Sept. 2004. Prior to me starting to trim Nanen she had shoes on which were causing her to be lame and her coffin bones were in jeopardy of coming thru her sole. The main issue on her first trim was seriously overgrown bars.
Robbie (Arab gelding)
Robbie is a 23yr old Arab gelding. I started trimming Robbie in September 2004. Robbie's main issues include severely contracted heels, underslung heels and long toes.
